NBC's Dateline is doing a show Sunday, July 22, 2007 on ID Theft, based on the current series of "To Catch a Predator". Chris Hansen continues his mission to put a face on the crime of identity theft, working with CardCops, an organization specializing in monitoring ID thieves.

Hi, mi name is Patricia Frias and last night I saw the interesting report "To CatchAn Id Thief". I just happen this morning to receive an email of a lender of Nigeria, Africa and I am sure that this is now the newest scheme. This is very dangerous with lots of people loosing their home, this might seem like a last opportunity for those naive people that want to save their homes. I would encorauge to make sure all american know about these schemes and maybe if the government can make commercial spots showing the type of schemes and how we can protect us. I been receiving this type of letters for the past 4 years and and for someone that does not know they may fall into this.
